Tournaments

What are tournaments?
Tournaments are short events where you compete with other growers to earn prizes. You don't have to participate if you don't want to, but all event participants will earn a reward no matter what, so there's no reason not to!

How do I join?
To be eligible to join a tournament, you will need to have unlocked your Grow Goals.  In other words, you will need to have unlocked at least 7 plots before you can participate in tournaments.

When a tournament begins, you will see a crown icon appear on the left side of your screen.  Tap that icon to pop up your tournament window, and you will see a  "Join" button. Tap "Join" to get started.

How do I earn points?
You earn tournament crowns every time you complete a grow goal.  The more difficult the grow goal (wood, bronze, silver, etc), the more points you will earn towards your tournament standing.

What do I get for playing?
As soon as you join a tournament, your overall coin profits will be boosted by 3x for the duration of the tournament. You don't even have to do anything!

Players are split into groups of 200 for each tournament, so you will compete with 200 other players to earn the top placement. No matter where you place at the end of the event, you will still earn loot!

How do I see my rank?
Once you have joined a tournament, you can tap on the crown icon to view more details about the current tournament.



Top Players - This shows you the current top 3 players in your tournament.  Your rank (in this screenshot, the player named "bahb") is shown below.

Prizes - This shows you your current rewards.  This user (bahb) is in 5th place, so their current reward falls in the rank 4 - 6 category.  If they are able to advance to rank 3, they will earn the rewards listed under "Next Prize" at the end of the tournament.
